SIEM engineer Robert Rojek
I graduated from Warsaw University of Technology (Civil Engineering – 2003) (Master’s degree, MScEng) and Warsaw School of Economics (Project Management – 2006). Initially, I followed a civil/structural engineering work path, and I was involved in projects like Arkadia Shopping Centre in Warsaw, Budimex-Olbrachta, Art Norblin, and eventually Siodemka Shopping Centre in Elblag.
For many years, I have supported IBM Security QRadar’s European customers (EMEA) and all of its family products (QVM, QRM, QRIF, QNI).
Nowadays, I am more of an IT consultant than a Civil engineer (MSc Eng), but I still have a great passion for all reinforced concrete construction around the world. Nevertheless, I have shared my activity for many years between those two passions: building engineering and information technologies (Unix systems in particular). It started at University when I built a LAN network for my neighbor so we could share an Internet connection (64 kbps bandwidth for 10 people!). I love computers, networking, and coding, so I stick to IT for good.
